Du Roi Multiplant (Pty) Ltd was established in 1998 and is situated in Letsitele, Limpopo Province, South Africa. The Company is a entity of the Du Roi Group,which include Du Roi Nursery (Citrus nursery), Du Roi Laboratory (Banana Tissue Culture Lab), Du Roi IPM (insectory of beneficial insects) and Du Roi Agritech (Sugarcane Tissue Culture Lab).

Du Roi Multiplant specialises in micro-propagation of guava, pomegranate and granadilla.

GUAVA (Psidium guajava L.): The guava TSG-2 was developed by the ARC – Institute for Tropical and Subtropical crops. This selection is resistant to the Guava Wilting Disease, unlike the other south African popular varieties (Fan Retief, Malherbe, Saxon and Van Zyl).

POMEGRANATE (Punica granatum): We supply two commercial varieties : Smith and Wonderful Pomegranates. The Smith pomegranate cultivar is protected by Plant Breeder`s Rights.

GRANADILLA (Passiflora edulis): The Ester granadilla was discovered in 1995. The selection was made from a population of the purple granadilla. Our Ester motherblock was established early 2011 with Tissue Culture plants, and are maintained under a insect proof structure. Randomized motherplants are virus indexed semi-annually . The Ester granadilla is protected by Plant Breeder`s Rights, which prohibits illegal propagation (PBR No ZA 941080).
