Current Cultivars

GUAVA (Psidium guajava L.) : The variety TSG-2 was developed by the ARC – Institute for Tropical and Subtropical crops. This selection is tolerant to the Guava Wilting Disease, unlike the other South African popular varieties (Fan Retief, Malherbe, Saxon and Van Zyl).

POMEGRANATE (Punica granatum) : We supply two commercial varieties : Smith and Wonderful pomegranates. The Smith pomegranate cultivar is protected by Plant Breeder`s Rights, while Wonderful is a free-hold variety.

GRANADILLA (Passiflora edulis) : The Ester granadilla was discovered in 1995. The selection was made from a population of the purple granadilla. Our Ester motherblock was established in 2011 through Tissue Culture plants, and is maintained in a biosecure structure to ensure the production of virus-free plants.

MACADAMIA (Macadamia integrifolia) : This is the newest addition to our operations. Our current focus is in the production of Beaumont, A4, 814, 816, A203 and A268.
